Marco Martinez | President

The President works directly with company representatives, providing an amazing networking opportunity. President creates the upcoming semester schedule, reserve rooms for professional meetings and special events, and facilitates transpiration to and from office tours. Special events coordinated by the fall President include helping with the Accounting Career Fair as well as helping with the Beta Auction and CPA Night.  Special events coordinated by the spring President include assisting with Accounting Awards Night, regional and national Beta Alpha Psi conferences, and helping with Management Night.

 

William Strigel President Elect

The President Elect’s duties include learning about Beta Alpha Psi and about our chapter’s traditions. The President Elect is charged with scheduling the next semester’s activities during his/her term as President Elect. The following semester President Elect takes over as President.  They are also in charge of making business cards, coordinating CPA Night in the fall, and Management Accounting Night in the spring.

 

Vigan Veseli | Vice President

The Vice President’s duties include serving as the Beta Alpha Psi Dean’s Advisory Council representative, and ordering catering service for the speaker meetings.

 

Jacob Green | Treasurer

The Treasurer’s duties include timely payments for all charges/refunds incurred by Beta, payment collections for all Beta sponsored events, monitoring bank reconciliations, balancing the budget, and maintaining all financial reporting necessary to the National Beta Office. The Treasurer also helps with the Beta Auction, our largest fundraiser of the year.

 

Juana Campos VP Membership

The duties of the VP-Membership include tracing and documenting all participation by Beta members, specifically the candidates. The VP-Membership coordinates the Parent/Pledge Dinner and is responsible to keep continuous contact with candidates to make sure they meet all the requirements to be initiated at semester end.

 

Ki-Soo Lim | VP Information Systems

The duties of the VP-Information Technology include updating and maintaining the Beta website, updating the BAP Facebook page, sending out weekly Beta emails to all members, pledges, and accounting faculty, putting Memos in the accounting faculty mail boxes, and collecting the scholarship applications.

 

Benjamin Matthews / Alec Salutz VP Special Events

The VP-Special Events is a team position where two people run together at elections.  They are responsible for planning, organizing, and executing one major event throughout the semester. The event coordinated in the fall is the Beta Auction and the event coordinated in the spring is the Alumni Golf Outing.

 

Jacob Shore VP External Reporting

The VP-External Reporting is responsible for all documentation and filings reported to the National BAP Office. This position requires you to communicate with the VP External Reporting Elect, Treasurer, and VP Membership to make sure necessary hours and events are completed to be on track to achieve Superior Chapter status.

 

Emily Wang VP External Reporting Elect

The VP-External Reporting-Elect’s duties include creating community services events and coordinating all pledges to complete their required community service hours. The next semester, VP-External Reporting Elect assumes the VP-External Reporting position.
